PICNIC IN THE PARK

Every summer we dedicate one meeting to visiting and having some fun before the busy school year begins! Bring a picnic dinner for your family (please note this is not a potluck) and socialize with Birth Circle families both new and old.

9TH ANNUAL LA LECHE LEAGUE & BIRTH CIRCLE YARD SALE!!!

Friday, August 23 from 9am to 1pm AND

Saturday, August 24 from 8am to 3pm

Our big yard sale is coming up soon.  It's a fun event and a great opportunity to get rid of things you no longer need and load up on those you do.  We'll have tons of baby & kids clothes, toys and gear, maternity items, household items, furniture, electronics and more.   All proceeds benefit La Leche League and The Birth Circle!

Here's how you can help:

DONATE:

Donations accepted in Molly's garage at 25 S. May Ave (please note, she's moved - this is a different address than last year).  Donations accepted after 5pm on Saturday August 17 or anytime thereafter leading up to the sale.  Due to limited space, we will not be accepting adult clothing this year unless it's maternity.  It is super helpful if you are able to group and label donated items (for example, "boys 2T"), and place them in garage according to signs on tables.

SHARE:

We are in need of tables, tarps, and sun shades/canopies to facilitate the sale.  If you are willing to loan, please contact Angela (info below) or drop off items in Molly's garage labeled with your name and phone number.

VOLUNTEER:

We're looking for some awesome volunteers! Help needed to sort and organize items for the sale on Wednesday & Thursday, to work shifts on Friday & Saturday, to distribute flyers around town announcing sale, to make & put up signs directing people to the sale.

Barefoot Books are award-winning affordable children's books written by independent authors and illustrators that encourage imagination, healthy living and global appreciation.   Rachel is selling Barefoot Books to help raise money for the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation for her sister-in-law Nicole who has been battling a Desmoid Tumor for over 6 years and 100% of her earnings will go to the DTRF.  She will also be collecting orders for books to donate to Cincinnati Children's, where Nicole has been receiving her treatments. INFERTILITY SUPPORT GROUP

This support group is for anyone affected by infertility. These free groups are offered as a time of sharing and support, and are facilitated by a counseling professional.
