GOING BACK TO WORK

Wednesday, March 27

from 7:00 to 8:30pm
at the Athens Library
When your maternity leave is over, how do you find good child care?  What about pumping breast milk?  And how do you manage demanding days at work, after sleepless nights?  Moms will share their stories, and we invite you to bring your questions, concerns and ideas.

**NEW** NEW MOMS' GROUP!

New baby?  Trying to navigate the transition to motherhood? Just want to get out of the house for a bit?  Join the Birth Circle's New Mom's Group, a free 8-week program that helps you meet other new mamas, talk about the transition to motherhood and have a couple laughs over the baby's (or your partner's) postpartum antics. You will meet in a comfortable home environment where there is always a warm cup of cocoa, coffee or tea waiting for you! The group will start Monday, March 18th and will meet every Monday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.  Please email Rachel Szostek (szostekrachel@gmail.com)  to register for the group--participation is limited to just 8 mamas (and your babies of course) in order to keep the group cozy.  Still expecting?  Stay tuned for announcements about future New Mom's Groups!

THANKS TO THIS MONTH'S SPONSOR, BIRTHWORKS BIRTHING CLASSES
The next round of BirthWorks childbirth classes, taught by Molly Wales, begins on March 16th and meets for six Saturdays (this is the last session until Fall).  BirthWorks is based on the philosophy that every woman is born with the knowledge of how to give birth, and that a woman will labor best where she feels safest and most secure.  This course is for any woman with any birthing history.  It helps women gain confidence in their ability to birth, and helps birth companions learn ways they can make labor safer and more comfortable.  BirthWorks classes provide both a physical and emotional preparation for birth, and are suitable for parents planning a hospital, birthing center or home birth.  Scholarships available for young and low-income moms.  My website, with complete info and testimonials, is www.daraluzathens.com.  Contact me with questions or to register:  740-591-9409 or molly.wales@yahoo.com.
