EVERY CHILD READY TO READ

Wednesday, June 26
7:00 to 8:30pm
at the Athens Library

Whether a child is four days old or four years old, it is not too early or too late to start building early literacy skills.  Every Child Ready to Read is a nationally recognized, research-based training program that promotes the practices of singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing to prepare children to be ready to learn to read when they reach school-age.  Amy King, Athens County Public Libraries, Youth Services Coordinator, will share this information, free books, and conversation about developing language skills in the very young.

THANKS TO THIS MONTH'S SPONSOR, Rachel Szostek, Barefoot Books Ambassador
